Octane Booster

What Is Octanium?
DEVELOPED IN THE LAB, PROVEN AT THE TRACK
In 2006, a team of tuners, drivers and scientists came together with one goal in mind: Create the world’s most powerful octane booster for your performance street car! After hundreds of hours in the lab and on the dyno, a new, powerful formula was created: Octanium!
No other fuel additive or octane booster has the specific lab, dyno, and track testing that’s gone into the development of Octanium! One bottle of Octanium can easily raise the octane level in your high performance vehicle from 93 to well over 100 – that’s a difference you’ll feel, at the track and on the street!
Designed for any type of gasoline powered vehicle from cars, trucks and SUV’s to motorcycles, jet skis and performance boats, Octanium is the single most effective way to prevent detonation, boost horsepower and keep your vehicle running at peak performance.
Today’s late model high compression performance engines require an octane level that is rarely attainable at the pump and running premium pump gas is not enough in most cases to get the most from your engine. Most of these performance engines have very sensitive knock sensors that can dramatically reduce your horsepower levels as the slightest hint of engine knock. Octanium will allow your engine to run full ignition timing without knock giving you max performance all the time. Octanium is a very important addition if your vehicle has been performance tuned via a chip, programmer or custom tune as nearly all of these will increase ignition timing to gain more horsepower.
Benefits of Octanium
- Detonation & Pre-Ignition Prevention - allows for optimized ignition timing for maximum power & performance
- Dramatically improves performance of pump gasoline especially those with 10% ethanol added
- Lubricity additive to keep valves lubricated
- Deposit control additive to clean fuel injectors, carburetors & prevent valve deposits from forming
- Works great & safe for all gasoline powered vehicles
- Convenient, easy to carry 32oz aluminum container
- Far more advanced than any other competing product
- Proven performance results by independent laboratory & multiple 3rd party testers
Detonation & Pre-Ignition: The Enemy of today’s complex vehicle engines
Detonation is an abnormal combustion process where the fuel/air mix burns in an out-of-control manner at extremely high speeds. This creates a violent jump in cylinder pressure when the piston is nearly stationary near top dead center and cannot effectively transfer the load to the crankshaft.
As engine load increases, if the temperatures and pressures are too high within the combustion chamber, a complex series of reactions begin to break down unburned fuel before the flame gets to them for normal combustion to take place. If the breakdown proceeds far enough, there are areas in the combustion chamber that will contain very unstable high temperature mixtures of unburned and partially burned fuel and air. If a critical temperature and pressure is reached these highly combustible gasses ignite explosively rather than in the normal process.
This highly unstable pocket of gas will undergo detonation (an extremely quick supersonic combustion), which can push cylinder pressures to very high levels and possibly cause severe damage to the mechanical parts of the engine.
When detonation occurs under low rpm conditions it produces a severe knocking and rattling sound which has come to be known as engine “knock”. At high rpm, the sound increases caused by the ringing of the entire engine, due to the sudden, damaging high pressure loads placed on the piston and cylinder head.
Detonation ranges from mild forms that an engine can endure to an intense form that can destroy pistons, blow head gaskets and crack cylinder walls in a matter of seconds. Adding Octanium to your engine is low cost insurance that will help ensure your engine lasts under hard driving conditions. Prevent motor damage, loss of horsepower and unwanted repairs caused by today’s poor quality gasoline by adding Octanium to your vehicle today!
Octanium even works great with racing fuels! Add Octanium to your leaded or unleaded racing fuel to achieve even higher levels of performance.
